Originally a Jules Verne adventure novel Around the World in 80 Days, featuring the fantastic character Phileas Fogg (always loved that name.) A wonderful adventure to be treasured, for sure!
Before there were airplanes and high speed travel, a fastidious English gentleman, Phileas Fogg, makes a remarkable wager - he will travel around the world in eighty days or forfeit 20,000 English Pound Sterling. Packed with action and adventure. Fogg and his faithful servant, Passepartout, embark on a journey into a world filled with danger and beauty - from India, where the heroic travelers rescue a beautiful Raja's wife from ritual sacrifice, to the rugged American frontier. An angry Sioux tribe ambushes their train. Fogg's mission is complicated by an incredible case of mistaken identity that sends a detective in hot pursuit. Around the World in Eighty Days is a masterpiece of adventure fiction that continues to captivate us today.
