WE WERE LUCKY TO HAVE GOLD KEY COMICS STAR TOM GILL

Tom Gill was a great artist for Gold Key & Dell Comics, a favorite of mine as I grew up reading comics.

Gill already had a career of teaching cartooning & illustration for roughly 50 years.

Incredibly, on top of that, Tom spent nearly 11 years illustrating The Lone Ranger with noted comic book writer Paul S. Newman.

Gill also drew The Owl #1 & #2 (scripted by none other than Jerry Siegel), a Man from U.N.C.L.E #8 feature, Time Tunnel #1 & #2 (love those painted covers.)

Tom enjoyed some longer runs on Bonanza, Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery, Cheyenne and Twilight Zone.

I think you'll agree, here's a man that made a difference.

We can always use some of that.

Thank You.
