I'm going to get back to one of my favorite King Comics series, Flash Gordon. I mean, how can you go wrong with the fantastic artwork featured, with legends such as Al Williamson, Reed Crandall, Dan Barry, Ric Estrada, Frank Bolle, Mac Raboy and Gil Kane. There was even a couple of Alex Raymond covers and stories.
Some of Ric Estrada's finest work!

Flash Gordon #3   Flash Meets Monolith, champion of all Mongo, in a duel to the death!
Cover by Al (Daredevil) Williamson.
"Lost in the Land of the Lizardmen"
Flash infiltrated the Lizardmen who are looking to join their new ally, Ming the Merciless.
"Flash Gordon Meets Monolith, Champion of Mongo"
Cazedessus, Ming's favorite magician, abduct Dale Arden, while Ming seeks to retake the throne of Mingo City.
Written by Bill (The Phantom, NoMan) Pearson with art by Ric (Richard Dragon, Karate Kid) Estrada.

These marvelous tales are reprinted in Dark Horse's Flash Gordon Comic-Archives Vol. 2, Al Williamson's Flash Gordon (cover reprint) & Al Williamson's Forbidden Worlds (cover reprint in the introduction.)
