 High concept spy fiction, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., was good from Gold Key Comics.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. revolves around agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin fighting the forces of THRUSH seeking world domination. The title character, Napoleon Solo was created by Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond. Fleming also created April Dancer, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.. The rest, as they say, is television history.

Gold Key started with Paul S. Newman & Dick Wood to write The Man from U.N.C.L.E. series and then added Mike (Justice League of America) Sekowsky, Don (Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea) Heck, George (Spyman) Tuska, Werner (X-Men) Roth and the many other fine artists to the equation.
