I thoroughly enjoyed Reed Crandall's comic book work on Flash Gordon, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents and the Warren magazines. As we get back to the eighth issue of Flash Gordon, he is once again the artist.

Flash Gordon #8
"Flash Gordon and the Elder's Deathtrap"
Flash Gordon, Dr. Zarkov & Dale Arden are lured toward the Mysterious City of the Elders.
"Ceremony in Shock"
Flash & Zarkov can only expect the worst from the sinister creatures looking down on them.
Written by Bill Pearson with art by Reed Crandall.
"Fifth Key of Power"
Secret Agent X-9 back-up story.
Written by Gary Poole.
"Fireballs in Space"
Text article on meteors.

Great Reed Crandall cover art originally from Crack Comics #51, in the late forties!

Pages 10 through 15 of "Flash Gordon and the Elder's Deathtrap" were reprinted in AC Comics  Golden-Age Greats Spotlight #5

You just have to add this to your collection, if you haven't already. The Dark Horse hardcovers are magnificent!

These stories have been reprinted in Flash Gordon Comic-Book Archives Volume 2. The cover used for the Archive book was from Flash Gordon #3 by Al Williamson.

Fillers from Flash Gordon #8.
Fabulous ad previewing Alex Raymond art in Flash Gordon #9!
Live Large My Friends!

Thank You!

Crandall illustrated NoMan & Dynamo in T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #1, #4, #5, #18 & #20.

From Creepy #6, reprinted in #20 & #74.

Sweet jam piece featuring the artist, Reed Crandall!
