BIG HERO ADVENTURES - JIGSAW MAN OF A THOUSAND PARTS !!!

Harvey Thrillers Big Hero Adventures Jigsaw Man of a Thousand Parts piqued my interest. A fun, exciting comic book outside the mainstream!
Otto Binder also wrote this Avengers novel!
Created by Joe Simon, Otto (Space Cabbie) Binder was the writer, with art by Tony (Werewolf) Tallarico and covers by Bill (Spyman) Draut & the late, great Joe Simon.

I liked the terrific logos Harvey Thrillers used!
Colonel Gary Jason of the U.S.Space Force leads a doomed mission to the moon to investigate an alien presence on Earth’s satellite, when his space capsule was battered and shattered by a stream of boulders, tree trunks and other debris rising out of Siberia. Without even a space suit to shield him from the surrounding vacuum, he was sucked, along with the rest of the flotsam, into a laboratory beneath the lunar crater Ptolemy.

Fearful of being perceived as enemies of Earth, the aliens running the place, Si-Krell and Plentha, repaired his smashed body with parts they had lying around, making him (with the inexplicable exceptions of his head and hands) look like a human-shaped pile of jigsaw puzzle parts, hence the name. In his souped-up body he was as pliable as Plastic Man and as strong as The Hulk, so when he got back to Earth he went into the superhero business.

Jigsaw #1   Don't Laugh at the Jigsaw Man! His Mechanical Parts Make Him the Greatest Crimefighter on Earth!
"A Nightmare in Space"
Origin of Jigsaw (Gary Jason)
"Introducing: Super Luck"
"The Boys from Up There"
Art by Reed (T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents) Crandall

Jigsaw #2   Duel on the Death Walk in Interplanetary Olympics!
"Interplanetary Olympics"
"Madhouse in Hollywood"
The tongue-in-cheek adventure involves the secret Martian agent seeking out agents of an insidious organization – FINK – on Earth.

Man from S.R.A.M. (Mars spelled backwards) feature with art by Carl (Super Green Beret) Pfeufer.

A third issue was advertised (Little Dot 109, February 1967, inside front cover) where Jigsaw fights stone-men, "Perilous Puzzle!", but evidently never published. As much as I've come across is a proposed cover, probably by Joe Simon.

This is a Harvey Thrillers not to be missed. If you like Jim Steranko's Spyman, and the other Harvey Superheroes, you'll probably enjoy this as well. Right up your alley if you liked Super Green Beret.

Live Large My Friends!

Thank You!
