PROBING THE SECRETS OF NATURE -- VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA PART 2 !!!

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was one of my favorite TV series. It was some of the best and most exciting science fiction on TV at the time

Admiral Nelson: Seaview's job is never finished. As long as there are destructive forces in the world. As long as there are secrets of nature to be probed, believe me, they'll be work for us. On missions just as vital and as dangerous as this one.

In Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Admiral Harriman Nelson's submarine Seaview is commissioned to investigate the mysteries of the seas. Usually he, Commander Lee Crane and the crew find more problems than answers. Officially, the Seaview is used for undersea marine research and visits many exotic locations in the Seven Seas, but its secret mission is to defend the planet from all world and extraterrestrial threats.

There is a great Viewmaster slide set of an episode of the TV series.

Moebius Models has come out with a large sized model of the Seaview which includes the bridge you can view through the front windows of the submarine. There is a decal set available as well as a lighting kit to bring the model to new heights.

This is the granddaddy of Seaview models! They have also released a large scale model of the original  Seaview as well.
