Portrays the dark, moodiness of the show!

T.H.E. Cat was a TV series, ahead of its time, starring Robert Loggia as Thomas Hewitt Edward Cat, a retired cat burglar. Retired from burgling, T.H.E. Cat protected clients who’ve been threatened with death, like the premise of The Equalizer. It was dark and moody, using martial arts realistically, instead of the old fashioned karate chop. Cat works out of his friend's cafe, El Casa del Gato. Stefan Arngrim, the young boy Barry from Land of the Giants, was one of the many famous actors guest starring on the show.

T.H.E. Cat had a run just as brief as the parent series, only four issues, but it had great photo covers (#1 was my favorite cover, with the psychedelic backdrop.) 

Robert Loggia was perfect in the role!

Unfortunately, there were no novels, until lately. Win Scott Eckert wrote a crossover novel with T.H.E. Cat and Honey West.

Sounds like a good read, gotta look that one up!

Private Eye Honey West!

There were no revivals of the comic book, until not long ago, when Moonstone did a crossover with T.H.E. Cat. and Honey West. The plus, it is written by Trina Robbins. I don't know where this came from, there was no crossover back in the day.
